How do I get tattooed at the show?
To get tattooed at the convention, you can go to the show and see who is
available for walk up clients or you can make an appointment with an artist
beforehand. You can find a list of artists attending each show on our site under
the attending artist tab!
How do I sign up for a booth?
We have applications on our website. Fill out the application with your
information. From there we will review it. If you are approved, you will get an
email with the next steps for payment. *filling out a booth application does NOT
guarantee you a booth*
Do I need to make an appointment or can I just walk up?
It all depends on the artist! Some prefer you make an appointment with them
beforehand. Others will be advertising walk ups!
How do I pay for a booth?
If you are approved you will get an email with information on payment. We
require a deposit down plus $100 WV health department fee that is required PER
STUDIO.
How do I make an appointment with an artist?
You will need to contact the artist to make an appointment. We do not have
anything to do with artists schedules. However, if you check the attending artist
tab, we will provide links to their social media accounts or website for you to get
their contact information!
What hotel is closest to the show?
There is a hotel on site as well as others nearby. All information is on the venue
section of the website, as well as the home page.
Does the price at the door go to part of my tattoo?
No it does not.
How do I check in/set up at the show location?
Early check in and set up on Thursday 12-8 and Friday 9am-11am.
Are tattoos free?
No. Artists need to make a living just as much as anyone else!
What comes with the purchase of a booth?
We will provide: two 8 foot tables, front table with a black table cloth, and back
table with a while vinyl cover. 4 chairs, pipe & drape, 2 artist badges and 1 guest
badge. Extra guest wristbands must be purchased at check-in. A sharps
container and trash can will be provided as well as internet and electricity access.
How much are tattoos?
The price of your tattoo is completely up to your artist! Contact an artist for a
quote!
If I am a vendor, do I need to submit health dept paperwork?
We require health department fee and paperwork if you are tattooing in your
booth. If not, nope!
How do I get to the show?
Our convention location is posted on our website, and social medias!
How do I get info on Health Department Requirements?
All of the health department information is on our website, as well as a link to the
WV Health Department website!
How do I get tickets to the show?
We have two different options for tickets. We will be selling them at the door all three days of the convention, as well as on our website for pre-sale tickets!
How do I become a Sponsor?
We have sponsor packages in the shop on our website!
How old do you have to be to get tattooed?
You must be 18+ and have VALID identification the day you get tattooed. No one
under the age of 18 will be getting tattooed at the convention.
Can anyone enter the Tattoo Contests?
Absolutely! As long as your piece matches the correct category!
Who will be at the show?
Featured artists, all attending artists, vendors, acts and performances will be
available on the website as they are added.
Is there a limit to the amount of entries that one person can enter?
Nope! You can enter as much as you would like!
What is the advantage to buying an advance ticket online?
You get a discount! And no waiting in line. Just have your code handy, get your
wristband and you’re good to go!
Is there a cut off time for entries?
Yes. On Friday and Saturday, entry time will be between 7-9 and awards at 10.
Sunday entry time between 6-7 and awards right after.
Can fresh/new tattoos be entered in the regular daily categories?
Yes!
What tattoos are eligible for Tattoo of the Day / Best in Show?
A Tattoo of the Day entry must be done start to finish on the day of entry at the
convention. Best in Show also must be done at the convention only and must be
present the day of judging.
